Drawing 1: Ribbon

This is the 3rd part to out project. This is the improvisation. I wanted to show the delicacy of a ribbon but as you might see the "cause" symbol is standing strong and might even look like metal. This is also on warm 18x24 paper with woodless graphite pencil and a kneaded eraser. The picture on bottom was done first you can tell the differences from the two. the final one has a more matal look to the top of the ribbon and extends more off to the right as if it's standing up on its own.

This is part 2 of the 3 for our drawing project. This is the "line" aspect of my ribbon. It is done on 18x24 plain white paper and black paint.

This was my "value" drawing for one of our last projects in Drawing 1. The paper size is 18x24 in. and the medium used was a woodless graphite pencil. The first drawing was my first sketch on regular white paper. I re-drew it using the light box and decided to use a warmer paper.
